1. Category Posting Usage:
a. Date Companions: This category is intended for advertising listings for professional date companions.
b. Entertainment: This category is intended for advertising entertainment venues, events, clubs, gatherings, etc. for the general public to special interest groups and age-restricted events.
c. Property Rentals: This category is intended for advertising property rentals. The listings can range in duration from under 6 months to long term. Properties that are acceptable to list include residential properties, retail properties, and commercial properties.
d. Marketplace: This category is intended for individuals to advertise goods they would like to sell, trade, or offer for free (no retail/commercial businesses please).
e. Personals Direct: This category is intended for individuals looking for casual connections or long-term relationships.
f. Restaurants: This category is intended for businesses looking to advertise a restaurant.
g. Business & Services Listings: This category is intended for licensed/registered businesses and skilled professionals looking to advertise their products and/or services.
2. Composing The Body/Description in Your Advertisements:
a. Please respect all users, ads should not contain profanity or words and phrases that violate anyone’s rights or may be distasteful, derogatory or have hidden connotations.
b. Ads cannot contain or promote defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, drug-related or illegal activities.
c. Ads cannot contain or promote content that pertains to the exploitation or endangerment of minors. Any ad that violates this rule will be removed and reported to the authorities.
d. Advertisements that contain or promote offers to provide sexual services for a monetary gain or human trafficking are strictly prohibited.
e. Advertisements that contain or promote the sale of goods such as weapons, prescription or illegal drugs, photo identification cards, counterfeit or pirated items, pornography or any other items consider illegal are strictly prohibited.
f. Users cannot advertise any property/goods that they do not own or have the rights to sell.
3. Images Featured in Advertisements:
a. Feature images (the thumbnail image of the ad when browsing) cannot contain explicit nudity (exposed areolas, lower genitalia, or the anus), sexual acts, minors, bestiality, or any other lewd activity.
b. All images featured in your ad must be of the person submitting it, ads cannot contain images of individuals that are unaware or did not provide consent.
c. No images can contain sexual acts, minors, bestiality, or any other lewd activity.
We ask that all users be conscientious and use sound judgment when posting an ad or responding to an ad on our site.
Classic Classifieds will notify any users that violate our publishing guidelines, to allow them the opportunity to amend any issues in their ad. Failure to rectify the issue within 3 days will result in the removal of the ad. We reserve the right to remove any ads or any portion of an ad that violates our policies or the Canadian Criminal Code without notice.
